Position Overview

In the last 75 years, The Andersons, Inc. has grown from a single grain elevator to an essential agribusiness with diverse interests in the commodity merchandising, renewables, and plant nutrient industries. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Grain Operations Worker at our Bliss, ID location.

As a Grain Operations Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our grain operations. You'll have the chance to work closely with our experienced team, learning and honing your skills while making a meaningful impact on the success of our operation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with either an understanding or a willingness to learn our grain processes and partner with our team to drive productivity and quality.

This position is responsible for performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a minimum of two tasks in the operations area contributing to customer service, grain conditioning or general facility upkeep

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Minimal job-related experience
• Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• No experience required
