Our client is a leader in Specialty Insurance, seeking a detail-oriented entry-level hybrid schedule Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Omaha, Nebraska - no prior accounts receivable or invoicing experience is required, but is preferred!

Hybrid Schedule (Tuesdays mandatory) in Omaha, 68154

Brief Overview:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, including maintenance and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with agents, brokers, and insureds to resolve billing/payment inquiries.
• Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely cashflow.
• Uphold service-level agreements and performance metrics (accuracy, productivity).
• Train via Teams during a 6-week ramp-up period

Required:

• Office experience in administrative , data entry , or similar roles.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook .
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable training remotely on Microsoft Teams and working with external partners.

Preferred:

• Background in Accounts Receivable or Accounting .
• Experience working with insurance agents/brokers or external stakeholders (professional customer relationships included!)
• Familiarity with AR systems (any experience is a plus).

Work Environment

• Hybrid: In-office 3 days/week , with Tuesdays mandatory .
• Choose your fixed schedule: 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00 (Central Time).
