Job Title: Administrative Assistant II

Location: Anderson, South Carolina

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant II will provide professional administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the department. The role involves managing records, scheduling, correspondence, and supporting both internal and external communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile records, documentation, and data for standard reports; handle confidential or sensitive company data.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and special events; ensure meeting rooms and equipment are prepared.
  • Make travel arrangements and submit expenses per company policy.
  • Draft, revise, and format correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Process purchase orders and accounts payable, monitor department budgets.
  • Answer phones, provide information, and route calls appropriately.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and services efficiently.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and packages.
  • Provide relief support to reception as needed.
  • Lead other administrative support associates when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; additional administrative training preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience; 6 years of professional administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in job-related software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Typing speed of 60+ wpm.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures preferred.
