This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely.  Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process.  Telework is only available to residents of California.  Please be advised that telework designations are subject to change at any time per Hiring Authority direction.

Working Conditions

About the location – Peace Officer Selection and Employee Development – Office of Peace Officer Selection – conducts recruitment, written exams, and background investigations for all peace officer applicants.  The Office of Peace Officer Selection location offers a secure access facility with an on-side fitness center, free parking, as well as a variety of nearby shopping locations.

PHYSICAL LOCATION – 10000 Goethe Road, Sacramento County.

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
