Job Description

A rapidly expanding and employee centric company in Bergen County is seeking a Business Advisory Consultant to join their team. This role is responsible for understanding, analyzing, and improving how we work across departments—helping them become more efficient by aligning people, processes, and technology. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business teams to understand current workflows and document end-to-end processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes involving systems, roles, or procedures.
  • Support the implementation of process changes and track progress.
  • Create and update training materials and documentation as needed.
  • Analyze data to support quality assurance before and after changes are made.
  • Assist in testing and rolling out new solutions and systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned areas or processes.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience gathering requirements and working with business and technical teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and customer service tools is a plus.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
