Job Description

Prospera Executive have been mandated to find a CFO for a national provider of commercial roofing and restoration services to partner with the CEO and private equity sponsor in leading the next phase of growth and professionalization. The business has grown from a regional contractor into a nationwide platform serving institutional clients across higher education, retail, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and multifamily sectors.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will play a key leadership role in scaling operations, enhancing financial visibility, and driving disciplined execution in a dynamic, project-based environment. The successful candidate will bring both strategic and hands-on financial leadership, balancing operational rigor with forward-looking value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management.
• Implement a new ERP and CRM system to integrate finance, operations, sales, and HR.
• Strengthen financial controls, job costing, and insurance receivables tracking.
• Partner with ownership on M&A diligence, valuation, and integration.
• Oversee risk management, compliance, and HR system integration.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Candidate Profile

• Proven CFO or senior finance executive in construction, roofing, restoration, or related project-based industries.
• Experience in a private equity or leveraged environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, cash flow management, and operational finance expertise.
• Successful ERP/CRM implementation experience.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
