If so, we are looking for someone to join our team as we grow. We provide structural engineering designs for Architects, Contractors, and Homeowners and are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various residential and commercial structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant codes. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for Residential and Commercial Structures including foundations and lateral bracing systems.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Draft detailed engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD.
• Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation that clearly communicate project details and findings.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• EIT required and PE preferred, or ability to obtain within a year.
• Proven experience in structural engineering or project engineering.
• Proficiency in design software including AutCAD, RISA 3D and other Wood Design Programs.
• Strong skills in technical writing for documentation purposes.
• Familiarity with project management principles to effectively oversee project phases.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Residential and International building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
