Job Description

A fast-growing, values-based General Contracting Company based out of Marietta, GA is looking to hire a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team to focus on commercial real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage facilities maintenance and remodel projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion

• Coordinate daily activities on-site and manage schedules to ensure all project tasks are completed on time

• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution

• Manage subcontractor performance and compliance with safety regulations, contracts, and specification

• Review and track project bids and contracts, helping to evaluate and select subcontractors

and supplier

• Maintain project documentation, including change orders, contracts, permits,

waivers, and safety records

• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and assist in cost control effort

• Prepare and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines

• Ensure timely collection and review of lien waivers, certificates of insurance, and other legal document

• Manage project procurement and ordering of materials and equipment

• Organize site meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status, timelines, and next step

• Provide logistical support to the project team, including managing project files, coordinating equipment, and supporting site operation

• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and other safety standards

• Report project progress and issues, helping to resolve problems as they arise

• Manage client and team communications, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and deliverables

• Handle phone calls and emails outside of regular business hours to support the project schedule, as much of the work is performed at night and on weekend

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, or project management, with a focus on facilities maintenance and remodels.

• Proficiency with construction management software, such as Procore, Buildertrend,

or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting,

and procurement.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work with diverse teams

• Understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and drawings

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project records

• Flexibility to handle after-hours communication, including phone calls and emails,

to meet the demands of the project schedule

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus

• Knowledge of estimating software or project scheduling tools

• Prior experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors physical requirements

• Ability to spend time on construction sites, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting materials or equipment up to 50lbs.

• Comfort working in varying weather conditions and construction environments.
