Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator with expertise in Accubid to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered and documented.
Key Responsibilities - Review project plans and specifications to develop estimates of time, materials, and labor costs
- Utilize Accubid software to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project requirements and scope
- Analyze and compare supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing
- Maintain a database of historical costs for reference in future projects
- Prepare and submit proposals and bid documents to clients
- Monitor project budgets and assist with cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications - 2+ years Electrical Estimator experience
- Proficiency with Accubid (required)
- Commercial project experience required
- Experience with projects $50k - $3M
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
