The Electrical Estimator Position
The Electrical Estimator monitors sales leads, defines scope of work for upcoming projects, obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors, and facilitates kickoff meetings. The Estimator provides turnover documentation, proposals, recaps, and drawings for each sold project, orders materials to initiate projects, communicates with customers regarding start dates, and quotes change orders.
The Electrical Estimator assists with permit applications, manages invoicing and material approvals, conducts close-out meetings, and supports field and project managers with job related questions. Additionally, the Estimator oversees opportunities for energy provider rebates to maximize project value.
