Job Description

The Early Childhood Teacher, or Early Childhood Educatorrole is to provide educational programing that focuses on early literacy,numeracy and social skills in efforts to prepare children for the formal schoolsetting. The Early Childhood Teacher/Educator aids in formingmeaningful partnerships with families and child specific focus forindividualized outcomes. The Early Childhood Teacher, or Early Childhood Educatorworks with children of varying ages: infants, toddlers, preschoolers andschool-aged in a variety of settings. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education,preferred + Certification for Early Childhood Education (ChildDevelopment Associate, CDA) as required by state/ client or contract + Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Strong organizational skills + Must be at least 18 years of age ??
