Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for scheduling fuel deliveries and ensuring that optimal levels of fuel inventories are maintained. As a dispatcher you will schedule routes to maximize driver’s time efficiency

Specific duties in this role will include:

• Plan the delivery route for fuel oil and diesel
• Identify and plan driver's stops and most precise use of available trucks
• Prepares loading and driver's sheets, to ensure accurate listing of stops
• Process and maintain delivery reports
• Contact customers by phone to notify them of deliver
• Follow up on driver and customer delivery questions

Requirements:

Must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both a team environment and independently. Must be detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature.

Specific qualifications in this role will include:

• Knowledge of the Heating Oil industry is a MUST
• Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
• Must also be comfortable with the MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and Web navigation
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 5 Years of prior Oil dispatch experience!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

• 8-hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Oil & gas routing: 3 years (Required)
• Oil Dispatching in NYC: 2 years (Required)
