Job Description

Job Title: Bilingual HR Coordinator

Location: Nebraska City, NE (Onsite)

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $24–$28/hr (Based on Experience)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Life Insurance

Schedule: 1st Shift, with overlap of 2nd shift at least 2 days/week

Role Overview

BEPC is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Nebraska City, NE. This position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience across a wide range of responsibilities including investigations, data analysis, training, and compliance—while making a direct impact on employee culture and morale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Administration: Support HR policies and ensure consistent application across departments.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a go-to resource for employee inquiries including direct deposit updates, citizenship verification, and referrals.
  • Investigations & Training: Participate in internal investigations and assist in training and development activities.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on HR metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Administrative Support: Manage labor moves, pay changes, medical leave documentation, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Orientation & Engagement: Facilitate new hire orientation and support employee engagement initiatives (e.g., Ind committee).
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to enhance HR processes and site culture.
  • Shift Support: Provide occasional coverage for 2nd and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in HR or a related field (internships or co-op experience welcome).
  • Language: Spanish fluency required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new HR systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential paperwork and reporting tasks.
  • Flexibility: Willing to adjust schedule to meet operational needs across shifts.
