Role Overview

We seek a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to manage our off-shift operations in Ankeny, IA. You will ensure a secure, collaborative work setting within our thermoplastic injection molding operations. Your role encompasses overseeing team engagement, safety, production schedules, and operational efficiencies, managing personnel like operators and maintenance technicians.

Your Mission

• Oversee day-to-day safety and team performance, optimizing resources to meet production goals.
• Foster team unity across shifts.
• Implement company policies and objectives.
• Coordinate staffing and training initiatives.
• Ensure safety compliance and support the safety committee.
• Ensure accuracy in production documentation and equipment changes.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Review daily shift performance metrics and foster employee morale.

Does This Sound Like You?

• 5+ years in manufacturing or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Skilled in interpersonal communication and multitasking up to five projects simultaneously.
• Proven leadership for teams of 20 or more.
• Dynamic self-starter with cross-team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, IQMS knowledge preferred.

Additional Advantages

• Experience in thermoplastic injection molding is a plus.
• Familiarity with injection mold technology and robotics.
• Mechanical aptitude and keen to innovate.

The Work Environment

This manufacturing role involves physical tasks like bending, sitting for long stretches, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
