Litigation Associate – Girard Sharp LLP (San Francisco Office)

Girard Sharp LLP is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial attorney with 5–10 years of experience to join our San Francisco office.

For nearly thirty years, Girard Sharp has earned a reputation for excellence in complex litigation. We are dedicated, creative lawyers and staff working on some of the most high-profile cases in the United States. Our clients range from individual consumers and small businesses to private enterprises, public pension funds, and municipalities.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in securities, consumer protection, privacy class actions, torts, or other complex litigation.

We prepare lawyers to become the top in our field. They will have the opportunity to work with accomplished litigators and advocate for our clients in court and in negotiations with opposing counsel. They will prepare and argue critical motions, and work in collaboration with our lawyers on case strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. with 5–10 years of litigation experience, preferably in class actions, torts or complex litigation;
  • Substantive experience in securities, consumer, privacy, or similar practice areas;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strategic, self-starting, decision-maker;
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills;
  • Results-oriented, with strong drive and initiative; and
  • Ability to work independently, shift focus, and respond to changing priorities;
