ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you the point person that people ask when they need something fixed? As a maintenance technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and improving all equipment and systems, which keeps our location running smoothly. Drexel is looking for our next rockstar who has a knack for fixing things and loves to work on machines! Join our mission to Supply Happiness!

  • Maintain and evaluate various types of production and company equipment, including Gas and diesel vehicles, tractor trailers, forklifts, automated/semi-automated saws, carpentry power tools, wall, floor panel/truss fabrication equipment, and other machinery
  • Perform skilled repair and maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses, diagnostic tools, and fabrication equipment
  • Assist in maintaining buildings including: mechanical, HVAC, and basic electrical systems.
  • Proficient in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC's, and hydraulic systems operations and controls
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and operation of forklifts, trailers, and vehicles (gas and diesel)
  • Test and maintain all systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure that they continually operate and meet the recommended manufacturer intervals
  • Installing and assembling machines and new equipment
  • Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance plan
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and repair times
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • The capability to provide timely service to diagnose and remedy problems
  • Work as a part of a team to ensure the job is completed quickly and efficiently
  • A rockstar at communication

ABOUT YOU

  • You have prior experience in electrical and/or mechanical fields
  • You have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • You can work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • You have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a team
  • You are willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational excellence
  • Experience in working with a variety of different equipment is a huge plus!
