Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Palos Heights, IL

Salary: $34-$42 hourly

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our client's organization in the Palos Heights, IL area.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance : Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and plant facilities, including pumps, boilers, air compressors, piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, blowers, and cooling towers
• Technical Support : Provide technical support during repairs, ensuring repair details such as tolerances, torque specifications, and materials of construction are documented
• Documentation : Develop and review maintenance procedures based on Most Effective Technology (MET) and utilize SAP software to close out work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
• Spare Parts Management : Help review and manage spare parts list for existing equipment and work with MRO to ensure parts are identified, added, and stocked in the MRO system
• Safety Compliance : Ensure workplace safety by conducting safety observations and reviews while adhering to safety regulations and procedures
• On-Call Rotation : Participate in the maintenance department on-call rotation schedule to service equipment failures during off-hour shifts
• HSEQ Compliance : Comply with the HSEQ Policy, regulations, legal and internal requirements, and participate in HSEQ activities provided by the site management

Qualifications

• Education : Minimum requirement of a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship
• Experience : 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong mechanical and industrial skills
• Skills : Must be a highly motivated team player, able to work independently, and possess pump experience
• Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently, work from ladders, scaffolding, or powered lifts when required
• Electrical experience and pump maintenance & repair experience
• Chemical Manufacturing experience
