Job Description

Overview:

This role will report to the CFO and be responsible for general accounting, cost & inventory accounting, and financial reporting. We are seeking an experienced Controller who can supervise a small Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and implement cost accounting procedures to accurately track and allocate direct and indirect costs.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and budgets, providing regular reports to management.
• Supervise a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems.
• Conduct regular audits and internal controls to maintain the accuracy of financial records and ensure the company's financial stability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Business. MBA or CPA a plus.

• Accounting experience working in the manufacturing industry, with understanding of cost accounting is required to be successful in this role

• Minimum 5+ years accounting supervisory experience

• Must be familiar with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people successfully, international experience a plus

• Proficiency with Excel
