We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Surgery Scheduler to join our growing administrative team. • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR (we use ECW).
  • Proactively update patients on any scheduling changes or insurance status.
  • Deliver exceptional service while ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.

What Makes This Role Unique:

  • This is not an entry-level scheduling role—our scheduler is a critical part of the care team.
  • You'll play a vital role in both patient care and backend coordination .
  • Opportunities for growth within a fun, social, and supportive office culture .

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of scheduling experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Surgery scheduling experience is required
  • Strong understanding of insurance authorization processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) EMR
  • Familiarity with bariatrics or surgical specialties such as internal medicine, orthopedics, or plastic surgery (especially breast reconstruction)
  • Background in appeals and navigating complex insurance processes
