Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Order Entry & Customer Support Specialist. This role is responsible for accurately processing and managing customer orders, supporting internal teams, and providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and manage customer orders, ensuring data completeness and compliance with company procedures.
  • Use EDI platforms and customer portals for order submission, tracking, and inventory reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Shipping, and Purchasing teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Respond to order status inquiries and customer questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Submit daily inventory reports through EDI systems and customer-specific portals.
  • Maintain and update customer account information related to orders and transactions.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, addressing general customer inquiries and follow-ups.
  • Manage merchandise returns, ensuring effective communication and accurate documentation.
  • Prepare and provide quotes to distributors upon request.
  • Serve as a backup for Amazon shipment coordination, managing routing through the Amazon platform.
  • Support Sales and Marketing initiatives with project-based tasks that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, with familiarity in using ERP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, especially in handling order inquiries and inbound calls.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn new products, tools, and systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs and tasks.

Additional Information:

  • Pay range: $21-23 per hour
  • Schedule: M-F 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; with some schedule flexibility
  • Location : Hybrid after training - 2 days WFH per week
  • Type: Direct Hire
