Job Description

Job Title: Pool Monitor

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool activities to ensure all rules and safety regulations are followed.

• Provide a visible and approachable presence to enforce safety guidelines.

• Assist guests with questions or concerns and offer assistance as needed.

• Observe and report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate personnel.

• Maintain poolside cleanliness, including removing debris and ensuring equipment is properly stored.

• Ensure pool deck areas are safe and free of hazards (i.e., wet floors or obstacles).

• Perform regular checks on pool water quality and notify maintenance staff if any issues arise.

• Provide first aid if necessary and assist with emergency situations when required.

• Support pool staff with setup and breakdown tasks (e.g., setting up chairs, umbrellas, etc.).

• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the manager.

• Assist in educating guests on proper pool behavior and safety practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Ability to work well independently as well as on a team

Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet

Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

Must have a valid ID
