Job Description

Moodys Northwest Consulting is Looking for Product Owner to lead the development of cutting-edge AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI technologies, have a strong understanding of how to deliver AI solutions, and possess exceptional collaboration and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, designers, data scientists, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality AI products that meet user needs and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the vision and strategy for AI-based products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize and roadmap key AI initiatives.
  • Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, prioritize features, epics, and user stories related to AI solutions. Ensure the backlog is well-defined and updated regularly based on customer feedback, business needs, and technical considerations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, data scientists, designers, and other product managers to deliver AI solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for the AI product.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Understand customer pain points, user requirements, and business objectives. Use customer insights and data to influence AI product features and improvements, ensuring AI solutions drive value for users.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on product goals, progress, and priorities. Clearly communicate product development progress and challenges.
  • AI/Tech Integration: Ensure the seamless integration of AI technologies into the product’s architecture. Collaborate with technical teams to define feasible AI models and ensure they are scalable and maintainable.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, performance metrics, and A/B testing to evaluate the impact of AI features and make informed decisions. Optimize product performance based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on AI/ML-powered products.
  • Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and related technologies.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development for AI-powered applications, particularly in areas like recommendation systems, chatbots, predictive analytics, or computer vision.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in AI technology.\

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from 100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to 150,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
