Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager with Federal Government Project experience to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership abilities, and the capacity to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, adherence to project timelines, and ensuring that all work meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Develop project schedules using tools such as Primavera and ProCore.
  • Utilize construction management software for tracking project progress and documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets.
  • Manage project changes effectively, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of updates.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction estimating.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D, and other construction management software.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • A solid understanding of project scheduling methodologies.
