Position: Owner’s Representative (Project Manager)

Location: Dallas, TX (Relocation opportunities available)

DataX Connect are representing a leading Owners Representative & Engineering specilaist seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the design and construction process for commercial and mission-critical projects. In this dynamic role, you’ll act as the owner’s eyes and ears across design and construction phases—managing consultants, resolving design challenges, and ensuring project success from concept to closeout.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead stakeholder coordination from schematic design to IFC finalization
  • Oversee external design partner contracts and performance
  • Conduct and lead design meetings, page-turns, and track design deliverables
  • Review equipment submittals and support procurement decisions
  • Manage construction administration, field investigations, and site coordination
  • Track design RFIs, submittals, and collaborate with construction teams
  • Maintain positive client relationships and report weekly progress, risks, and blockers
  • Support lessons learned, enforce safety practices, and drive continuous improvement

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or 2+ years of experience in a related field)
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management or owner’s rep role in mission-critical sectors
  • Strong understanding of MEP/FA/FP trades and the construction lifecycle
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and build strong relationships
