Overview:

As our PR Manager, you will lead CHAGEE’s public relations and media outreach strategy, ensuring the brand gains visibility in the US market through press coverage, media partnerships, and strategic storytelling. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key media outlets, securing impactful coverage, and positioning CHAGEE as a leader in modern tea culture.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a public relations strategy that increases CHAGEE’s brand awareness and reputation in the US market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, influencers, and industry professionals across mainstream and news media outlets
  • Manage all press releases, media advisories, and PR campaigns to ensure consistency in brand messaging
  • Secure media coverage across digital, print, and broadcast platforms to support brand campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives
  • Oversee the review and approval of copywriting and visuals for brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with CHAGEE’s identity and market positioning
  • Monitor and manage media sentiment, addressing any potential brand risks and proactively positioning CHAGEE positively in the marketplace
  • Support crisis communication strategies and media response efforts as needed
  • Partner with internal marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure an integrated communications approach
  • Track and analyze PR campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Identify and execute partnership opportunities that enhance CHAGEE’s brand credibility and visibility
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment

Experience you need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, within the food & beverage, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle industries
  • Established relationships with US media outlets, journalists, and PR agencies
  • Strong understanding of media landscape, PR trends, and best practices for digital and traditional press outreach
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for press materials, brand messaging, and corporate communications
  • Experience in reviewing and approving copywriting and visual assets for marketing and PR campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Crisis communication experience and ability to manage media relations in sensitive situations
  • Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR analytics platforms

The expected base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on considerations including (but not limited to): relevant knowledge and experience for this position, skills, education, certifications, and more.
