ROLE DESCRIPTION
· The Sales Director, Walmart Team Leader, is responsible for developing the Genomma Lab business (by Brand and Category) at Walmart, Inc. (Walmart, Sam's, Walmart.com)
· Responsible for the development and execution of business plans to grow sales, share, and improve sales fundamentals in accordance with the Commercial and Brand strategies.
· Build a productive, multi-level relationship with the Walmart HQ Team (DMM, Buyers, and Operations personnel), which creates a competitive advantage for our brands
· Responsible for the coordination of our Genomma US e-commerce team's efforts and activation against Walmart.com
· Responsible for the training and management of one direct reports.
· Responsible for the development of comprehensive trade promotion plans, including feature and customer marketing.
· Responsible for managing Commercial and in-store as media budgets
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE ( Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, Companies and/or Categories preferences )
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred, in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
· 10+ years of professional experience in Consumer Packaged Goods sales, including experience at Walmart.
· Must live in the metro Bentonville, AR area
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
· Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities with short deadlines and maintain a high level of quality output
· Presentation skills are necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management
· Demonstrated capability in business analytics and experience with IRI, Nielsen, or similar databases.
· Experience managing Customer / Team budgets and people
· Proficient in MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word, etc.)
