REMOTE (Must live in IL, IN, WI, IA, MI, or FL)

Our client, a large established health system, is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Cycle Project Analyst! The Analyst do a lot of ad-hoc analysis and project management. This position reports directly to the Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Research and interpret billing and coding regulations
• Review charge capture tools for accuracy
• Prepare analysis for management
• Provide education and training
• Troubleshoot complex account errors
• Resolve and answers questions related to charge capture and complex regulatory billing issues.
• Act as a liaison to identify and resolve charge related issues and special projects
• Mentors and supports members of Revenue Integrity Team
• Process and systems improvements
• Continuing education on practices, industry, and regulatory changes
• Supports the finance, operations and revenue cycle teams through special projects.
• Coordinate special focus reviews and follow-up with Internal Audit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of revenue cycle experience
• Beginner to Moderate knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Healthcare experience required
• Strong communication skills
