Shan Potts Law Offices is a nationally recognized immigration law firm based in Glendale, California. For over 25 years, we’ve represented clients in complex matters involving asylum, deportation defense, family-based immigration, and post-conviction relief. As a firm committed to both excellence and equity, we are now seeking a driven Marketing Intern to help us expand our visibility and thought leadership—especially on LinkedIn.

We are seeking a Remote Marketing Intern with a passion for legal advocacy and digital storytelling to support our firm’s marketing strategy—specifically, our LinkedIn presence . This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to learn how to build a powerful, professional brand voice for a mission-driven law firm.

• Assist in planning, drafting, and publishing original LinkedIn posts on behalf of the firm and its attorneys (news, blogs, success stories, immigration insights).
• Research trending immigration news, legal policies, and community issues to generate timely and relevant content ideas.
• Analyze post performance and report engagement metrics to optimize future strategies.
• Design branded visuals using Canva or similar tools (training provided if needed).
• Collaborate with attorneys, marketing staff, and leadership on content priorities.
• Assist with updating the firm’s website bios, practice pages, and case success stories as needed.

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Pre-Law, or related field.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to write clearly for a professional audience.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, content strategy, and engagement metrics.
• Passion for social justice, immigration, or legal services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Basic design and visual editing skills a plus (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.).

• Certificate of Completion & Letter of Recommendation
• Mentorship from the CEO and Senior Marketing Advisor
• Real-world exposure to law firm brand-building and professional communications
• Enhanced resume and portfolio with published LinkedIn and web content
• Consideration for long-term contract or paid marketing role upon completion

• Flexible remote schedule (10–15 hours/week)
• Weekly check-in with supervising attorney or marketing advisor
