Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 3PL warehouse, which includes managing a team of 20+ employees across two facilities—one Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and one domestic. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, controlling costs, maintaining quality standards, and managing time effectively. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable, organized, and an excellent communicator.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the security of the facility, ensuring the safety of all personnel, and managing all aspects of inventory control. Oversee the accurate creation of warehouse receipts using our WMS system (Magaya), and ensure precise picking and packing of outbound cargo. This position requires close collaboration with the Sales, Import/Export, Executive teams, and all other branches to support overall business operations. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will help implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and consistency across both warehouse locations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training, mentorship, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily operations across both warehouse locations to ensure efficient and accurate workflows.
  • Ensure proper receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Monitor order fulfillment accuracy and timeliness, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Manage eCommerce and distribution accounts, ensuring orders are processed and completed within required timeframes.
  • Maintain facility security and ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Accurately manage inventory, including cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Oversee container loading and unloading activities, ensuring timely coordination and proper documentation.
  • Utilize performance metrics and data analytics to evaluate and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of all cargo, maintaining clear documentation within the WMS.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse procedures to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety.
  • Report and resolve all overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and logistics partners to support timely deliveries and service quality.
  • Verify shipment accuracy prior to release and ensure all required documentation is in place.
  • Coordinate daily import container releases and prepare outbound shipments accordingly.
  • Optimize warehouse workflows and SOPs to improve productivity and service levels while reducing operational costs.
  • Maintain accurate records through effective use of the WMS (Magaya), including entering receipts and generating labels.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor warehouse performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Import/Export, Executive leadership, and other internal departments to ensure warehouse activities support overall business objectives.
  • Communicate daily priorities, expectations, and updates with warehouse staff.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Education, and Experience):

  • Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, E-commerce, Logistics 5+ years (Required).
  • MAGAYA.
  • Microsoft Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Flexibility to work long days starting at 6am.
  • Associate degree in related area.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Positive "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work quickly and precisely in a fast-paced working environment under tight deadlines.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
