About the Role:

We’re looking for a Welding Engineer with experience in OTC and/or FANUC robotic welding systems to join our growing team. If you're passionate about robotic welding, process improvement, and want to work alongside a strong group of design-savvy engineers, this is your chance to make a big impact.

This role focuses on robotic programming, troubleshooting, and welding process optimization , rather than just fixture design—though some CAD and fixture experience is helpful. You'll help us fine-tune our welding operations, support production goals, and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives.

We know this skill set is unique—so we’re open to candidates with hands-on robotic experience even if you’re a bit lighter on the design side.

What You’ll Do:

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding systems (primarily OTC and FANUC – currently 2 of each).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure weld quality and efficiency.
• Support fixture design and provide input on weld angles, positioning, and part holding using CAD software .
• Communicate with internal teams and OEM support (FANUC/OTC) to resolve issues.
• Help train operators and team members on best practices and system operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding schematics .
• Ensure processes meet AWS and ASME standards .

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• 3–5+ years of experience in welding engineering , especially with robotic welding systems .
• Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting FANUC and/or OTC robotic welders.
• Comfortable collaborating with design engineers and support teams.
• Strong programming ability on FD Series or similar systems.
• Experience using CAD for welding fixture design .
• Solid understanding of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME) .
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics .
• Excellent communicator—able to work independently and effectively train others.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) .
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) .
• Experience in metal fabrication, automotive, or stamping environments .
