Responsible for assisting with start-up, warranty, and billable service for all CHC product lines. Identity and/or repair replacement needs; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment and assisting in other skilled trades as required.
Technical
1. Assist in the inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of cooling towers and related equipment.
2. Perform general labor tasks such as removing debris, pressure washing, and replacing parts.
3. Support technicians in assembling, disassembling, and transporting materials.
4. Use hand and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks.
5. Follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
6. Climb ladders and work at heights to access cooling towers.
7. Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials at job sites.
8. Assist in documenting work performed and reporting issues to supervisors.
9. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
10. Prior experience in construction, HVAC, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
11. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
12. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
13. Ability to climb and work at heights safely.
14. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
15. Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
16. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
17. Exposure to outdoor conditions such as heat, cold, and humidity.
18. Working at heights and on scaffolding.
19. Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
Customer Service
* Offer telephone support for start-up and troubleshooting.
* Present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude always when with customers and co-workers. Exhibit an understanding of human relations and functions as a "team player".
* Observe additional maintenance needs requiring attention and report those to the appropriate supervisor and a recommendation of necessary/needed replacement parts/equipment.
Administration
* Submit timely reports.
* Responsible for truck tool inventory.
Miscellaneous
* Always work safely.
* Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
* Willing/able to work autonomously with minimum supervision while working on assignment(s).
* Based upon business needs, you may be required to work overtime.
* Adhere to company policy regarding rest and meal breaks.
* If necessary, ability to work out- of- town and stay overnight to complete work.
* Maintain company vehicle by following the vehicle manufacturer's suggested maintenance intervals.
