📌 Now Hiring: Phlebotomist II | Bellingham, WA

Organization: Pride Health

Location: Bellingham, WA 98226

Duration: 3+ month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (W2 – Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM + rotating weekends

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility in Bellingham, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages
Ensure patient comfort and safety during blood collection
Accurately label specimens and complete requisition forms
Follow standardized procedures for waived testing
Properly handle and store specimens to maintain sample integrity
Adhere to protocols for specimen transport and disposal
Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as directed
Apply electrodes and monitor patients for quality tracings
Prepare and verify manifests for external lab specimens

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience
Strong skills with pediatric and geriatric patient populations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable transportation required

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
