Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the application and renewal processes for state and federal mortgage licenses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all licensing documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in licensing regulations and communicate updates.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and internal departments to resolve any licensing issues.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on licensing requirements and compliance matters.
  • Handle ancillary insurance renewals and surety bond renewals.
  • Represent the company during state audits, both off-site and on-site.
  • Manage lender and warehouse renewals.
  • Track appraisal management payments.
  • Conduct loan file QC audits for 100% of funded loans.
  • Prepare and submit mortgage call reports.
  • Oversee AML tracking and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with California harassment tracking requirements.
  • Correct employee timecards and meal penalties.
  • Manage individual loan officer state licenses.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal mortgage licensing regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with multi-state licensing processes.
