Plaid Enterprises, home to market-leading brands, such as Mod Podge, FolkArt, Apple Barrel, Bucilla, and Arteza , is looking for a Copywriter who can tell clear, compelling, and authentic stories across formats. The ideal candidate has a strong balance of creativity and performance, while writing product copy, tutorials, and guides that improve understanding, trust, and conversion.
You’ll work closely with our Integrated Marketing team, spanning content, communications, and campaign planning, and with Creative Services to create seamless customer experiences that move people from inspiration to purchase and turn shoppers into lifelong makers.
Brand and Product Storytelling
· Write persuasive, consumer-friendly PDP copy (features/benefits, naming, differentiators)
· Develop long-form content (blogs, tutorials, guides) optimized for organic discovery and purchase confidence
· Apply EEAT principles (experience, expertise, authority, trust) to strengthen trust and clarity in product storytelling
Search and Performance Writing
· Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices (metadata, headlines, scannability)
· Write high-impact copy designed for zero-click environments (AI answers, voice search)
· Incorporate GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies as platforms evolve
Collaboration and Quality
· Partner closely with internal teams to deliver cohesive brand messaging across touchpoints
· Maintain accuracy and consistency through strong editing and proofreading
· Prioritize clarity, accessibility, and conversion in all content
· Strong portfolio including product copy and long-form content
· SEO writing experience and understanding of keyword strategy
· Familiar with using AI tools to improve content production and performance while ensuring a strong human voice
· Understanding of how creators, social discovery, and consumer behavior shape purchase decisions
· Ability to translate product features into clear, customer-friendly benefits
· Meticulous editing skills and a passion for clarity
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional partners
· Passion for creative communities, understanding of hobbyist consumer behavior, and a community-first mindset
· Based in Atlanta, GA (preferred).
