We need a builder‑storyteller who can turn that spark into a self‑sustaining fire: code demos, videos, docs, talks, and a healthy dev community. You’ll be our first DevRel hire and will define how Motia speaks to—and learns from—its users.

• Create canonical demos : Ship weekly examples in TypeScript  and Python
• Level‑up docs : Rewrite quick‑starts, author deep‑dives, and own release notes.
• Teach in public : Host live‑coding streams, Twitter/X Spaces, and short video tutorials.
• Speak & write : Present at meetups/conferences, publish posts on our blog and Dev.to.
• Nurture community : Answer Discord threads daily, surface product feedback, and convert power users into contributors.
• Track and report KPIs : GitHub ★ growth, NPM installs, VS Code/Cursor extension installs, Discord DAU, external content mentions.

• 3+ years as a software engineer  and 1+ year in Developer Relations for an OSS dev tool.
• Hands‑on skill with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python; you enjoy shipping high quality, runnable code.
• A portfolio of talks, blog posts, or videos that moved real metrics—show us numbers.
• Clear, concise technical writing chops.
• Comfort on camera and a genuine voice on social.
• Empathy for both early adopters and skeptics; you turn feedback into actionable GitHub issues.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience with event‑driven or serverless architectures (Kafka, Temporal, AWS Lambda, etc.).
• Familiarity with LLM/agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Prior "founding DevRel" experience at a seed‑stage startup.
