Logistics and Inventory Project Manager

Remote with 80% Travel (4-9 month projects at a time, with accommodations)

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Overview: We are seeking an Inventory Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience in logistics, inventory, and project management to oversee inventory control for new construction projects.

Must Haves / Mandatory:

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics and project management
• Experience with inventory control systems and inventory management
• Background in new base build construction environments
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time, full 4 - 9 month stays at location with accommodations.

Nice to Have / Preferred:

• Previous 3PL type environment experience
• Greenfield / Construction site experience

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or project management
• Strong understanding of inventory control systems, material flow processes, and stock management techniques
• Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems is highly preferred
• Experience in project-based inventory or construction environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Equivalent work experience in inventory or project management will also be considered

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records for all project materials, ensuring stock accuracy and availability
• Monitor and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials onsite
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with project needs
• Develop and optimize processes for inventory flow to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Collaborate with build supervisors to forecast material needs and proactively address potential gaps
