We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Programmer with 4+ years of experience to join our development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications, focusing on both new development and modernization efforts such as code refactoring and re-architecture. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications using languages and frameworks such as C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
  • Participate in the modernization of legacy applications, including code refactoring and application re-architecture
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design and implement efficient, scalable software solutions
  • Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) to design and implement effective database schemas and optimize queries
  • Implement and manage version control using source control tools (e.g., Git, SVN)
  • Assist with deployment management and ensure applications are properly tested, deployed, and monitored
  • Adhere to software development best practices and methodologies to deliver high-quality code within project timelines
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing solutions in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in .NET development
  • Provide support for basic mobile app development, including iOS and Android platforms, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in programming with .NET frameworks, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with low-code/No-code app development using K2 tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Experience with code refactoring, application re-architecture, and modernization of legacy systems
  • Working knowledge of source control management tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and deployment management practices
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Basic knowledge of mobile app development for iOS and Android (e.g., using Swift, Kotlin, Xamarin or other related technologies)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Gap International associates are based out of our corporate office in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
