Job Description

Description

At Amazon, we're working to be the most Customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we’re constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver their orders. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space. We are doing this by building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including technology, operations, and marketing. A successful BOSS Sr. Program Manager will work to improve the on-road experience of hundreds of thousands of DPs through data analysis, deep diving of barriers and pain points, and implementing thoughtful and effective standards. Effective stakeholder management skills are needed in order to effectively balance these competing priorities and deliver effective solutions on behalf of our customers and DPs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with finance, marketing, capacity management, data science, engineering, and program management on process improvement and launch initiatives.
  • Effectively influence stakeholders through collaboration and effective prioritization.
  • Make difficult resource trade-offs and align Director and senior-level leadership on inputs, outputs, and priorities.
  • Own key performance indicators and work closely with the business to understand day to day opportunities and pain points in order to implement short term and long term solves.
  • Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate level of quality and in line with its target date.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
