About the Role:

An established and growing Forklift Dealership is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee daily operations, manage a large team of field and shop technicians, and ensure service efficiency across a large territory. This role will have direct P&L responsibility, including billing oversight, goal setting, and team performance management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, experience managing service teams, and the ability to adapt to an established environment before implementing changes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a large team of service technicians across field and shop operations.
• Manage P&L, billing, and service goals, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards while maintaining flexibility where needed.
• Support the continued growth of the service team, with plans to hire additional technicians this year.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in service, maintenance, or field operations.
• Experience managing P&L, technician performance, and operational goals.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and support team leads.
• Industry experience in material handling or heavy equipment is required.
• Must be able to learn and adapt before implementing process changes.
