About the Company

Express is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our Client’s beverage distribution center in the Miramar area of San Diego. This role is critical to managing the movement and cold storage of perishable fruit juice products in a cold environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in food or beverage warehousing, and a solid understanding of cold chain logistics.

Warehouse Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of beverages, particularly refrigerated fruit juice products.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive inventory in compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Prioritize and coordinate inbound receiving and outbound shipping activities to ensure timely distribution and minimize product dwell time, focusing on maintaining cold chain integrity for inventory.
• Lead, train, and schedule a team of warehouse associates, including refrigerated forklift operators and pickers.
• Monitor and maintain optimal refrigerated temperatures; coordinate with maintenance if equipment issues arise.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HACCP, and company-specific safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and transportation teams to ensure timely replenishment and delivery of goods.
• Implement and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce product loss.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the refrigerator and staging areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Prior experience working in cold storage environments is required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certified (or ability to become certified); refrigerator forklift experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in temperatures as low as 30°F with proper PPE.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
