SmartAC.com is seeking a Senior Web Developer with a strong track record of building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications to join our team of talented and dedicated software engineers and continue the growth of the SmartAC.com web platform.
This position is On-Site at our office headquarters in Houston Texas (Heights Area).
ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the SmartAC.com software team, in this role you will develop customer-facing features of the SmartAC.com web platform to help HVAC and other Trade Service Providers respond to conditions detected by our IoT systems, and to facilitate service interactions with homeowners through our mobile applications and integrations with CRM Service Platforms.
You will create tools and pages for internal operations management, such as status monitoring of our fleet of IoT sensors and providing analytic views of AC system performance to our engineering staff and customers. You will support integrations with our e-commerce and fulfillment systems, supporting delivery of goods and collecting payments.
You will collaborate closely often with fellow staff across all business functions, so that we can efficiently deliver useful and good-looking sites, features, and tools while maintaining high standards in development processes, code quality and application performance. You will compose technical plans and work with the technical team to make key decisions on implementations with respect to the architecture, scalability, and user experience.
You will help continue expanding the architecture of our web platform with modern, responsive web frameworks. As an engineer you will write clean, efficient code that is performant, reliable, and scalable, using generally accepted conventions and principles consistent with our stack. You will write coded unit tests, participate in code reviews with other developers, and operate CICD of the web systems for dev, testing, QA, and production environments.
